Parliament’s Diary
Three bills were introduced and four annual reports were tabled when Parliament resumed yesterday morning. The bills were Indecent Publications, Thames High School Amendment and the Auckland Tiansport Board Amendment. All were referred to committees.
The repons were the National Roads Board, the Justice Department, the Government Printing Office, and the Child Welfare Division. The House, which spent the rest of the sitting discussing the report of the Public Expenditure Committee, rose at 4 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
