Christchurch. 2730 AUCKLAND HOSPITAL BOARD SURGICAL TRAINING COURSE Recent successes tn the Final F.R.A.C.S. examination have created an Impending vacancy in the scheme of rotating regtatratrarships for surgical training at the Auckland Hospital Board’s Institutions. Applicants who have alreadypassed the Primary examination are preferred and receive priority, but other applications will be considered. The course extends over three years with 6 monthly rotations in general surgery, surgical pathology and surgical specialities. and appointees may proceed to their final F.R.A.C.S. examination. This training scheme is recognised by the Australasian College of Surgeons as a fulfilling all the necessary requirements. The appointment in the first instance is until December 31. 1963 but application can then be made, if progress is satisfactory to continue in the scheme throughout 1964 and onwards.
