PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to tlie Counties Act, 1956, and the Rating Act, 1025, and the amendments hereto, it is the intention of the Heathcote County Council, at its Ordinary Meeting to be held on Thursday, July 18. 1963, to make and levy tlie following nates:— (1) A General Rate of one penny (Id) in the pound (£) on the Capital value of all property apnea-ring on the Variation Rolls of the (bounty of Heath-cote. (2> A Water Rate of .3d in the pound (£) on the Capital rateable value of all property on the Valuation Rolls of the County of Heathcote. In respects of an ordinary supply to water all lands and dwelling-houses connected to tlie water supply, provided that where such rate would produce less than £2 a rate of £2 be made and levied, which rates shall be reduced to. one-half in respects of all lands, dwel-ling-houses and buildings ’ other than dwelling-houses to which water can be put but is not supplied, situated within one hundred yards of any part of the water works.
