Table Tennis Miss Wade And Vallance Win Handicap Honours

Miss C. Wade and L. Vallance took the major honours on the opening night of the Canterbury Table Tennis Association’s Handicap week.

After easily beating Mrs J. Gundry and taking a close match with Miss M. Baker. Miss Wade coasted in for an easy win in the B grade single event, when she beat Miss B. Clements in the final. Vallance had to fight hard before finally taking the E grade singles from I. McGuinniety in a disappointing final. Vallance won his second title when he teamed with R. Mitchell to beat F. KeUy and McGuinniety in the men’s doubles final. Results were:
