American Woman Buys Farm
(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND. July 2 A 2000-acre farm at Ostend, Waiheke Island, has been sold to Mrs Robert Rothschild, of New York, by Messrs P. L. and T. C O’Brien Mr P L. O’Brien will remain on the farm as manager
The price has not been disclosed.
Injured Woman.—Mrs Ivy Mary Te Koeti, the 70-year-old woman who was critically injured In a fall down an 18ft lift well on Monday afternoon, was reported to be “a little better” last night She is being treated In the Dunedin Hospital for multiple fractures to her right knee and a possible fracture of the pelvis.—(PA.).
