INDUSTRIES FAIR

Court Planned ?or Arts, Crafts As a result of requests from women’s organisations, the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association will hold an arts and crafts section at the Industries Fair this year. This section has not been on the schedule since 195®. A special court will be given over entirely to handcrafts and special demonstrations will be held, exhibits will be displayed to showeach at its best advantage, behind glass panels. This will give visitors an unirestricted view while protecting the articles. Special staff will be available to receive and dispatch exhibits before and after the fair, to ensure that exhibits will be well cared tor at ail times;

Because of improved facilities tor handling and display, the promoters hope to stimulate interest in the section and a very high standard of entries.
