WORKS DEPARTMENT SALE OF USED PRIESTMAN DRAGLINE EXCAVATOR TENDERS will be received by the undersigned up till noon on Friday. July 12, 1963, for the purchase "as is. where is" of a used Priestman Wolf I cubic yard Dragline Excavator. The machine was purchased new in March, 1954. and used largely on farm drainage by one owner-operator until purchased by Dunedin City Council in October. 1959, for work at its refuse tip at Green Island where it was used for 21 years stripping covering material from a swamp area. Total hours worked since new approximately 6500. The machine has a 32 feet boom. A spare Repaid Chain (New) and a Side Attachment Boom with extra bucket is included. The machine may be Inspected during working hours at -the Council's refuse tip at Green Island, near Dunedin, and the site attachment boom at the Council's Sanitary Works Department Depot at Midland street, Dunedin.
