Halswell Garden Club Trophies
The Halswell Garden Club held its seventeenth annual meeting recently, and trophies won during the year were presented by the patron (Mrs H Brake) as follows:
Watling Cup, Mesdames Tothill and Lynch equal 1; McDermott Cup. Mrs G. Brice; shrub. Mrs J. Naber; Brake Rose Bowl, Mrs H. J. A. Lynch; Slack Cup, Mrs H. J. A. Lynch; White Rose Vase. Mrs H. J. A. Lynch. The following officers were elected: patron, Mrs H. Brake; president, Mrs H. J A. Lynch; vice-presidents. Mrs D. R. Wilkie and Miss M. Waitling; secretary, Mrs G. F White; treasurer. Mrs D. R. Wilkie; committee Mesdames J. Kent. T. W. C Tothill, G. Brice, P. Townshend. R. Hamilton and J Naber.
