Big Phosphate Cargo
(N Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, June 30. Drawing 29ft 7in, the 11,130ton freighter’ Rosina Topic berthed at New Plymouth today with the biggest cargo of phosphate ever to come to New Zealand—l4.4oo tons. The harbourmaster. Captain J. Flett, said it was the sec-ond-largest tonnage ever to be put into a ship at Nauru Island. The largest tonnage went to Australia in another vessel. The Rosina Topic took 11.400 tons to Brisbane on her last trip.
