CANTERBURY MUSEUM TRUST BOARDS RATE. NORTH CANTERBURY CATCHMENT BOARD’S RATES, CHRISTCHURCH ' TRANSPORT BOARD’S RATES. IT IS HEREBY PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that it is the intention of the Christchurch City Council at an Ordinary Meeting of the Christchurch City Council, to be held at 8 p.m. on MONDAY, the fifteenth day of JULY. 1906. in the City Council Chamber, 19+ Manchester street. Christchurch to MAKE and LEVY the undermentioned RATES upon the Rateable Value of all Rateable Properties appearing in the Valuation Rolls now in force in the City of Christchurch for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1963, and ending on the thirty-first day of March 1964. The above Rate will be made under the provisions of Sections 12 and 14 of “The Canterbury Museum Trust Board Act, 1947.” "The Municipal Corporations Act. 1954. and ’‘The Rating Act. 1925.” to meet contributions payable to the Canterbury Museum Trust Board. (6) AS to the WHOLE CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH (the boundaries of which are defined ,in the New Zealand Gazette No. 43. page 1094 of July 7. 1955. and amended by Gazette No. 3 of January 22 1959. page 57. and further amended by Gazette No. 14 of February 23, 1961. page 323. under the provisions of Section 95 of “The Municipal Corporations Act. 1954." and 'The Rating Act. 1925. Water Rates as follows : (a) On all lands and dwellinghouses to which water is supplied, a Rate of ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY SIX-SIX HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FIFTHS (138-625 ths) OF A PENNY IN THE POUND on Capital Value: provided that, if that rate would produce less than one pound in respect of any such land or dwelling-house, a rate of not more than one pound may be made and levied (b) On al! lands and dwellinghouses to which wetter can be but is not supplied, situate within one hundred yards from any part of the waterworks, a Rate not exceeding half of the rates mentioned in paragraph (a) above. (c) On all buildings other than dwelling-houses, a Rate not exceeding half of the rates mentioned in paragraph (a) above. The above Water Rates being for the purposes of the Supply of Water and Maintenance of Waterworks UNIFORM ANNUAL FEE UNDER- ‘THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT. 1954."
