Dyers Pass Rd. Parking

Consideration should be given to prohibiting the parking of vehicles outside shops on the lower side of Dyers Pass road at the intersection of Hackthorne road, said the Heathcote County Council's traffic officer (Mr H. B. Gore) in a report to. the council. Vehicles travelling up Hackthorne road were unable to see traffic on the left proceeding up Dyers Pass road, he said. “At the'same time, the bus stop on the lower comer of Hackthorne road should be moved back about 60 feet. This would enable vehicles to park where the present bus stop is and would; therefore give shoppers access to the two shops affected." he said. The council decided to refer the matter to its works committee.
