4 p.c. Fall In Profit
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 25. The consolidated net profit of Dominion Breweries. Ltd., eased £18,578 or 4 per cent, to £443337 to the year to March 31. directors announced in a preliminary statement today. Dividend is again 10 per cent
The result was achieved after providing for increased depreciation charges and higher costs of renovations and maintenance in the brewery and the group of I hotels, directors say. Profit was also after absorbing increased costs for materials, transport and labour in all* departments. Much the same circumstances applied to the company’s main subsidiary. The final dividend of 5 per cent, is payable on July 31. shares becoming ex dividend on July 22.
