Dog Trapped In Fire
(N.Z. Press Association) WHANG'AREI, June 13. A little dog was the only casualty when a house more than 100 years old was burned to the ground at Russell early this morning. Mrs P. Mills and four ohildren escaped from the blaze in their night attire. The only possessions saved were a refrigerator and washing machine, brought out by two local residents. Mr Mills was away in Auckland.
