The parents of a three-year-old boy, Graliame John Hart, today settled for £l4OO a claim for damages from a hospital in which the boy was allegedly bitten by a rat when he was 36 hours old Mr A. C. Sanders, for the hospital, said the hospital disputed whether a rait had bitten the child but the case had been settled by consent of the parties on terms which were not to be disclosed.
