The directors of Manawalu Knitting Mills. Ltd, report that, as forecast in the 1962 annual report, the half-year ended May 19 has been a very difficult period due to the warm winter experienced last year with consequent carryover of stock to this winter b_. the retailers However, the directors consider the company can look forward to the future with confidence and therefore have decided to continue with the usual interim dividend of 5 per cent.—payable July I, ex June 21. •
Henderson and Pollard. Henderson and Pollard. Ltd, recommended final dividend of 4 per cent, payable August 8. ex dividend July 23. This makes total dividends for the year 7j per cent, against 10 per cent, last year.—(PA.)
