The Nature Conservation Division of the Transvaal Provincial Administration is ait present engaged in a propaganda campaign for the protection of birds of prey The campaign takes the form of stamps which are attached "o letters The Administration aims by this method to protect birds of prey, which are nocovered by the ordinance fpr the protection of certain kinds of game A Nature Conservation official said it had to be kept in mind that birds of prey were in many cases of great use to farmers. They killed rodents and smaller beasts of prev which often caused farmers great losses
