Clearance Expected Today (From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, June 7. Only a small section of the Ball Hut road has been cleared of snow, and it is not expected that the road will be open before midday tomorrow. The road has been blocked since Thursday, with falls of about 18 inches. A ski instructor and six employees are spending their second night at the Ball hut. They have adequate supplies but the Mount Cook National Park Board’s chief ranger (Mr J. L. Burke) hopes to get through to them In a Land Rover from the Hermitage tomorrow.
