Russian Refugees
Sir, —One’s heart bleeds for these poor people, so it would seem, the way C.0.R.5.0. is doling out its funds to them. After all, how long since the Russian Revolution? About 46 years ago. Many people lost all they possessed in this country, and elsewhere, through the great depression, but by now it would be said that they should be on their feet again. Why did these people not go to one of the free countries, and by now should be able to stand on their own feet? C.0.R5.0. gets nothing from me ever again, to give to ex-aristo-crats. It is a far cry from the revolution to be needing help. —Yours, etc., R. DAVIS. May 29, 1963.
