(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND. June 2

R. and W Hellaby. Ltd Auckland meat processors will take action to restore full dividend rights to preference shareholders whose dividends were compulsorily reduced by the National Expenditure Adjustment Act, the chairman (Mr D. H Steen) says in a letter to preference shareholders

An application to the Supreme Court is necessary and this has been initteted by the company, the letter says The recent Court actions of Truth (N.Z), Ltd., make it &ar that the Court will give sympathetic consideration to reinstatement of preference share hold e r s' rights, he says. Directors strongly recommend the support of all shareholders. The restoration of the rate would be at the expense of ordinary shareholders. but to such a negligible extent as to have no effect on the rate of ordinary dividend
