More Butter For Export
(NJ!. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 1 In the nine months to April 30, more butter was graded for export than in the same period last year, but cheese figures fell slightly. The butter increase came to nearly 5 pee cent A total of 164293 tons was graded—--7598 tons more than in the nine months to April 30, 1962. total of 86.810 tons of cheese was graded—a deerease of 1844 tons on 1962. The April decrease was 2275 tons There ware 28270 tons of butter in store at April 30, and 23,829 tons of cheese.
