PRESIDENT TO VISIT N.Z.
Royal College Of Obstetricians
The president of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. London, Mr A- C. Bell, accompanied by his wife, will visit New Zealand from June 5 to June 16 in the course of a tour sponsored by the British Council. He will also visit Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
In New Zealand his programme has been arranged by the Ngw Zealand Regional Council'of’the Royal College, whose chairman is Mr S. W. J. Harbutt, of Auckland. Starting in Auckland on June 5. he will visit Hamilton, Wellington. Dunedin, and Christ-
church before leaving for Australia on June 16. Mr Bell is senior obstetric surgeon at the Westminster Hospital, senior surgeon at the Chelsea Hospital for Women, and consulting surgeon at the Queen Charlotte’s Maternity Hospital. Landon. He served for 17 years on the council of the Royal College of Obstetricians "and Gynaecologists: from 1953 to 1960 he was treasurer, and he has been president since 1961
The Royal College, founded in 1929. now has more than 2000 fellows and members of whom there are 75 in New Zealand. During his tour.-the president hopes to meet most of them.
