Hunting Horn Succeeds-

June 2 Hunting Hom made the grade as a jumper when he led over the last five and a half furlongs in the Greenfield Hurdle* at Wtngatu) on Saturftuntlng Horn's jumping won him the race. Ravelston and Regal Order, which finished second and third, spoilt their chances with faulty leap* Trained at Gore by R J Cochrane for Mr J. H Grigg, of Longbeacb. Hunting Hom was ridden by S D Hawthorne
The Slug and Matlock made the early running, but The Slug slipped on landing near the mile and was pulled up shortly afterwards Hunting Hom moved up to take the lead with five and a half furlongs to run Matlock »*■ second then, aheac of Ravelston and Regal Order Ravelston jumped up to second at the three furlongs and followed Hunting Horn into the straight Over the final furlong Hunting Hom did not have to be ridden out to beat RavelMon by half a length There was a length and a naif to Regal Order and eight lengths to Matlock Wasco was beater, off tn fifth place and be was dear of Tiinku and Devon Down* Surprise Win

long* and came wide out to finish fourth behind Golden Day* Knight was the early leader from Cobble and Sir Athol Boawood rushed up to join Cobble at the half-mile where
Sir Athol and th* improving Sir Anthonv were next
Cobble went clear on straightening up bu* Str Athol *oor caught her Sir Anthony then challenged and tn a tieh« finish just got up Golder Days which was never far away came on for third two lengths
