LONDON. May 30 Christopher Craig, who was sentenced to be detained during the Queen's pleasure (for an indefinite period! for shooting a policeman in November. 1952. has been released from prison, a Home Office spokesman said in London today Both Craig, aged 16 at the time of the shooting, and Derek William Bentley, then aged 19 years, were found guilty in December. 1952 of murdering Constable Sidney Miles during a roof-top struggle in Croydon. Surrey Lord Goddard, then the Lord Chief Justice sentenced Bentley to death.
