Squash Coach

Although M. Dadir, the highly-ranked professional squash player, is the first overseas professional brought to New Zealand especially to coach, there is at least one other notable name in the list of those who have coached squash rackets in New Zealand. The test cricketer, F. T. Badcock. coached in Christchurch in themid-1930'5. He had been a ranking squash rackets player in England before coming to New Zealand in 1924. In Chrischurch, he had a full book each day for several weeks, and players of the day recall that Badcock gave the game a great lift with his coaching.
