“THE PRESS” BACKS A WINNER.—The 18-hour Canterbury Gold Star Bardahi Trophy rally organised by the Canterbury Car Club was won by the Mk 111 Zodiac pictured above. The crew was A. J. Petre (driver), P. Gregory (co-driver), Miss C. Parris (time-keeper) and D. F. Parris (navigator). The car was sponsored by “The Press.” Second place in the event went to B. T. Andrews, third to J. D. Butts, fourth to D. Hawke and fifth to W. Renalson. Thirty-two cars started and two retired.
