West Of England Women’s Work
Knitting for the Friends of the Hospital and C.0.R.5.0 work and with the meals on wheels scheme were reported as part of the year’s activities at the twenty-fifth annual meeting of the West of England Women’s Association.
Mrs E. Rowberry, a foundation member was elected an honorary life member. The following officers were elected: —President, Mrs E. Garlick (re-elected); vicepresidents, Mesdames M. Logan and A. Rhodes; secre-tary-treasurer, Mrs E. Emerson: trustee, Mrs M. Logan; auditor, Mrs M. Anderson; committee, Mesdames M. Watts and C. Harris: white elephant table, Mrs A. Sweatmore; sick visitor, Mrs E. Turnpenny.
