Leaders Continue To Drift Against Trend
New Zealand Paper Mills dropped 4s to 30s, on the announcement of the passed dividend yesterday. Only five other New Zealand shares traded at lower prices, but they were all market leaders. Eight leaders improved, and* there were three rises for every fall among New Zealand issues.
Vibrapac Blocks made the best gain of the day, up 2s at 21s, after the announcement of the higher dividend. Overseas shares again were firm.
