Offered on account of the estate of S. M. Blatchford, a farm of 514 acres at Teddington, Banks Peninsula, was passed in at £11.308 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr W. L. Matson The opening bid was £lB an acre There were four bids of £l.
Buildings on the property, which is subdivided into 10 paddocks and two blocks, include a semi two-storey house consisting of five bedrooms. livingroom, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. Outbuildings include garages, woolshed, storeroom, workshop. feedshed, and fowlhouse. A three-year-old weatherboard bungalow at 92 Marlow road, Aranui, was sold for £2650 at public auction yesterday The auctioneer was Mr .R. Simes.
