Use Of Rail Ferry (N.Z. Preus Association) WELLINGTON, May 27 The advent ot the railroad ferry Aramoana could make a contribution to bigger and brighter shows, says the president of the Royal Agricultural Society (Mr M S Rennie) in his annual report. In particular, it could help with shows at Palmerston North and Christchurch. The society’s annua] mec'ing will be held in Wellington on June 26.

Mr Rennie says representations have been made bv the society to have railway horse boxes converted for the carriage of sheep and cattle District show councils could assist considerably by arranging for top quality stock to represent them and take advantage of the society’s freight subsidies.
