Schooling At Wingatui

“The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN, May 28. Tunku (R. O. Cairns) gave ■ sound display of jumping when schocUed in company with his stablemate. Datary (R. A. Low) over two hurdles at Wingatui this morning. The Sabaean gelding has made steady progress since he joined H. A and H. T. Anderton's stable and he should not take long to make the grade as a hurdler.

He is due to have his first race since coming to the South Island and his first start as a jumper in the Greenfield Hack 'Hurdles on Saturday. Datary jumped a bit extravagantly. He has also shown promise in his new sphere. The Slub (R. O. Cairns) and Matlock (R. A. Low) jumped two hurdles at a fast pace.

In addition to these two horses and Tunku. the Anderton rtable has the top weight. Ravefston. and Mondovi in the Greenfield Hurdles. Devon Downs (C. Mould), another candidate for this event, shaped well over a round of six hurdles. This Cassock gelding has not raced since January. 1960.
