Savings Bank Makes Grants
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 21. Organisations with varied activities have received grants totalling £55.825 in the latest list of' donations granted by the board of trustees of the Auckland Savings Bank. Sixteen organisations for the care of the aged have been granted £12,500 and youth and children’s organisations have been granted £lO,OOO. Other disbursements are: medical and hospitals £B5OO. educational £7OOO. disabled £5OOO, musical and cultural £4OOO, social services £3OOO. others £5825..
