IMMIGRANTS TO N.Z.
Trade Leader Asks For More (NJZ. Press Association) DUNEDIN, May 13. Lane) said today. Australia’s great progress recently was largely because of her big annual influx of immigrants, he said. New Zealand’s immigration figures, even when the size of Australia was taken into consideration, were far behind. Mr Lane said there were two main reasons why Australia was progressing so well—access to ready money and a quickly growing population. Vision and energy were being shown in developing these.
