Income From Two Estates (N.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) MELBOURNE. May 9 Two wills lodged for probate in the Supreme Court today provide that income from more than £BOO.OOO will eventually go to the Melbourne University. The wills also contained personal bequests. The benefactors were Sir Alfred Edward Rarwden White, who died on January 15, and Mrs Louise Berta Mossen Hanson, who died in Monaco on November 9 last year. Sir Rowden White, aged 86. a well-known physician and philanthropist, of Melbourne, left an estate in Australia valued at £A714.000 net. Nearly all the income will eventually be applied to various university faculties named in the will. Mrs Hanson, formerly Mrs James Dyer, left estate in Victoria valued at £A241.379 gross. Most of the income will eventually go to the university for musical education and research. From 1945 until her death Mrs Hanson and her husband, Dr. Joseph Birch Hanson. ran the Oiseau-Lyre music and record publishing house in Monaco.
