Miniature Rifles Winter Tourney Begins
The winter tournament eomrltions began this week and teams competed in the four grades. As usual at the start of the season, the scores were not high, but an exception was the Cashmere open team which nad a score of 796 out of 800. Holidays apparently affected the 'Varsity and Training College teams, neither of whom could field a full team. The following possibles were scored:—100.10: R. E. Taylor R A. Weston, M. Rapley (A.), V. Curtis, P. Champion E. Judson (A ), E. Bidden: 100.6: T. Fuse (A.). Mrs Russuman (A.); 100.5: R. W. Taylor (A.); 100.4: J. Duncan. Results were:— Master Grade. Cashmere 796.18.
