Riley Holdings Profit Up
(IV.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. May 12. The consolidated net profit of Riley Holdings, Ltd., Auckland clothing manufacturer, rose from £24,332 to £26.900 in the year ending March 19, the directors announce in a preliminary statement. Ordinary dividend has been increased from 8 to 9 per cent, by a final dividend of 5 per cent. Trading was maintained at a satisfactory level and sales established a new record, the directors say. With the integration of Edwin Russell, Ltd., taken over in March of this year, with E. L. Riley, Ltd., the group is now in a position to further expand and diversify The result includes dividends received from Edwin Russell, but its accounts have not been consolidated, the directors add. The final dividend will be paid on July 2, ex dividend June 26. Final accounts will be published in June.
