Possible Record
The great performance of the New Brighton halfback, G. Stanley, in scoring 27 of his side’s 30 points against Sydenham at Jellicoe Park on Saturday may possibly be a record for interclub Rugby. No official records of individual performances in club Rugby are kept. It is almost certain that it is the first time a halfback has scored such a large total of points in one game. Stanley scored four tries, converted three of them and kicked three penalty goals.
