Forecast:— Canterbury.—South-westerlies, fresh in exposed areas; changeable and cold with showers. Outlook: scattered showers, especially about the coast. Westland and Buller.—South-westerlies, fresh in some exposed areas; changeable and cool with occasional showers. Outlook: probably mainly fine. Nelson.—South-westerlies, freshening at times; showers early, then mainly fine with moderate day temperatures. Outlook: mainly fine. Marlborough.—North - westerlies, decreasing; showery at first but improving; partly cloudy for a time, then further showers with freshening southerly winds and colder temperatures later. Outlook: scattered coastal showers.
