COUNTY CLERK FOR KAIKOURA
Mr A. E. Aymes Appointed
Mr A. E. Amy«- ot Ch.-is*-church, has been appointed clerk to the Kaikoura County Council. He will replace Mr J. H. Burns, who will be leaving the district on May 24. Mr Amyes is an accountant who has been employed by a Arm of wholesale merchants. Earlier, he was with the Bluff Borough Council and the Heathcote County Council.
It is expected that Mr Amyes will take up has new position later this month
Mr Burns said there were 11 applicants tor the position which carries, a salary of £1750.
