MR TALBOTS AT LINCOLN

College And D.S.LR. Divisions Visited The Minister of Agriculture (Mr Tailboys) visited Lincoln College and the crop Research Division and the Botany Division of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research on Thursday. He said that the purpose of his visit had been to acquaint himself with the work of these institutions. Mr Taiboys was accompanied by the Director-

General of Agriculture (Mr D. N. R. Webb). Recently Mr Talboys and Mr Webb visited Massey University College, and next week they will go to the Rjjakura animal research , station. Yesterday morning they 1 called at tlje offices of the ■ Department of Agriculture ‘ and also saw the depart- , ment’s fumigation plant and , a commercial seed-dressing plant.
