NAPIER DREDGE IN DOCK.—The Napier Harbour Board’s 60-year-old dredge Whakarire in the graving dock at Lyttelton. A local engineering firm is converting the 819-ton dredge from coal to oil fuel. Sharing the dock with the Whakarire is the tug Lyttelton II, which is being overhauled.
