The St. Andrew’s College Parent-Teacher .Association this year has a financial membership of 1788. it wm reported at the annual meeting. This figure include* 428 paid up life members 551 parents of past pupils who retain an active interest in the oollege, and 809 parents of present pupils. The total is a gain of 140 on last year.

The association’s present major project is the jubilee appeal for £19,000, being made in c-njunction with the Old Boys’ Association, to provide an assembly hallgymnasium by 1965. The appeal, launched 10 days ago. so far has produced more than £lOOO. offers of farm stock tor auction and substantial gifts of building materials.

Officers elected were:— Patron, the rector (Mr I. T. Galloway); president. Mr E. W. S. Hignett; vice-presi-dents. Mr J. C. Wilton and Or W H. Brockett; immediate past president, Mr T. M. Stanton; secretary-treas-urer, Mr G. A. M. Hilson; auditor. Mr K R Wallaceexecutive, Dr. J. R. Turner’ Messrs J. S Callaway. W. A. Goss, R. W. Pannell; G. E. Valter, and A. H.
