ENTERTAINMENT FOR CHILDREN

Linwood Church Programme

Free entertainment for children in the Linwood area will be provided during school holidays by the Linwood Avenue Church of Christ.

For two hours each afternoon of the first week of the holidays, a programme of games, films, quizzes and stories will be conducted by a team of five leaden. The programme will be led by the Rev. C. A. Brown, minister of the Church. who has conducted similar sessions in Auckland and Southland. Mr Brown has said this was a community service provided by the Church for parents and children. “There is no catch, no strings, and no charge,” he added.
