Bad Floods

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, May 9. North coast towns are experiencing their worst floods since 1954. Already 2000 persons have been evacuated. One man is feared drowned, and others have been injured escaping from floodwaters. Boats today were rescuing hundreds from rooftops. Many '•owns are isolated by water.
