DR. LOUISSON RESIGNS

Three Decades On Committee

Dr. M G. Louisson has resigned from the committee of the Canterbury Jockey Club, a position he has occupied for more than 30 years. He will remain a steward of the club His successor ,n the committee will be Mr T. B. Morten.

The CJ.C. committee this week passed a resolution expressing appreciation of Dr. Louisson’s services to the club.

My Fair Lady Retired

The six-year-old mare, My Fair Lady, which was formerly trained at Riocarton by G. R. Pelling and has lately been in the Waahdyke stable of E. P. Corboy, has been retired. She has been unsound. Present plans are for My Fair Lady to be mated at Fairlie next spring with the imported sire Jekyll. She did her racing in the colours of a Central Otago owner, Mr F. J. Donnelly, for whom she won four races.
