Flight To Chathams
(N.Z. Press Awoetatton) CHATHAM ISLANDS. May 8. An RJI.Z.I.F. Sunderland arrived at the Chatham Islands from HobsonvUlb today to land a technician to work'on the aircraft mooring buoys. Tbe passenger* also included officers of the Civil Aviation Admin Ist ration and the Ministry of Works, who will discuss with the Resident Commissioner a new jetty at tbe air base They will also conduct a routine check of the mechanical equipment and launches used at tbe air base Big quantities of mail were carried each way A medical patient and another urgent traveller were taken on the return flight
