Canty. Executive Of W.D.F.F.

Mrs I. Fraser of Lincoln' presided at the May meeting of the Canterbury Provinciall Executive of the Women's ■ Division of Federated Farmers, which was held yesterday.

Two delegates, Mesdames ; F G. Kolkman (Hailswell) i and T. Beer (Spreydon) were elected to represent the pro-i vincial executive on the Templeton Hospital Chepel Appeal committee. Three housekeepers were at present in employment in the provincial executive’s area, the housekeeper secretary (Mrs R. A. Armitage) reported.

It was reported art the meeting that a contribution had been made to the Queen, Elizabeth Arts Council, on behalf of the W.D.F.F.
