Dinner For 61 Graduands

Sixty-one graduands were entertained at a buffet dinner last evening by the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Federation of University Women.

They were welcomed by the president of the Canterbury branch, Mrs O. D. Suggate, and congratulated on their success. Each was presented with a spray of flowers by Mrs Suggate on behalf of the branch Mrs C. H. Perkins, immediate past president of the branch who will soon leave on a trip to England, was bidden farewell at the dinner. While in London, Mrs Perkins will attend the International Federation of University Women’s Council in July as New Zealand’s representative.
