Man Dies In Fire

(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON. May 7 An elderly man died about noon today in a fire which destroyed a small cottage at Whatawhata. about seven miles west of Hamilton He was Norman Car-Rollett, aged 74. single, a farmer, of Whatawhata. Mr Car-Rollett was a returned serviceman from World War I. He had a brother in Auckland and a sister in Christchurch. There are no suspicious circumstances according to the police.
