Specific allocation has been made for railway lowering and outlets in Hamilton <£360.000). elimination of flooding on State highway No 4 (Te Kuiti-Wanganui). £80.000; reconstruction of the Pio Pio-Mahoenui section of State highway No. 3. £110.000; extension of sealing on State highway No. 30 at Mangapehi, £30,000.
