Although the Shirley subcentre of the Red Cross Society had been formed only in July last year, its first months bad been very active the president (Mrs R. N.C.W. Loses Member.— The Christchurch branch of the National Council of Women is to lose one of its executive members. Dr. Margaret Savage, who is moving to the North Island. She was presented with flowers at the council’s meeting last evening by the acting chairman (Miss M. E. Saunders).
